Ingenuity

When you don't have in the jungle, you make due with what you have.  Now it may seem a little crazy that my friends don't have a cork screw.... I mean, I even have a cork screw!!  So of course we do the next most rational thing... We make our own!

We have a screw... 

We have a pot holder wrapped around a screw to pop the cork.

EPIC FAILURE!

Ahhh, a hammer!  Of course... :) Why didn't I think of that???

And there you have it.  Your very own homemade cork screw. :)

This was for Indonesia Independence Day. The first outfit was given to me by a gal from Sumatra and the second dress I had made in Tembagapura. Two dresses in one day!! Crazy!! ;)

Bali Silver

While in Bali last week, I went to a silver store to purchase jewelry to use for a fundraiser. There was so much jewelry to choose from!

While I was there, I also got to see some of the craftsmen make the jewelry. There is so much talent in this world! :)

After 4 hours in the store, I called it quits. :)
