When you don't have in the jungle, you make due with what you have. Now it may seem a little crazy that my friends don't have a cork screw.... I mean, I even have a cork screw!! So of course we do the next most rational thing... We make our own!
We have a screw...

While in Bali last week, I went to a silver store to purchase jewelry to use for a fundraiser. There was so much jewelry to choose from!

Today, Mersades and I leave for Malaysia to start the next stage of her life... High School!
Next stop, Malaysia! :)
There were a few tears at the hotel as her siblings were saying goodbye, but for the most part everyone is doing ok. Yes, even Marz and I!
If there is anything that I have learned from our life in Indonesia, is the God has a plan for all of our lives. We can either fight that plan and be miserable, or we can take it and run with it. I am trying to take it and run.
Of course there will be tears and there will be home sickness, but until God closes this door that he opened for us, in his perfect time, then we will keep doing what we are doing.
Thank you family and friends for all your support! Love to you all!

Over the last two years, Mersades has been taking Confirmation class, over the Internet, from our Pastor in Spearfish. When we left Indonesia, in June, she wasn't quite done with all the classes. So we asked for the help from the two Pastors in the Mobridge/Glenham church to help Mersades finish her classes. Well it was three days a week, two hours a day, but Mersades got the classes finished! So on Sunday, August 4th, she was Confirmed!
Great job Marz!! All Gods Blessings be bestowed on you! xo

Sorry it was short notice, family and friends that couldn't come. We wanted to get it done before we were off on the next stage of life... BOARDING SCHOOL! ...and we were not sure it was going to happen until the last minute. :)
Will keep you posted...
