Day 2 - Bike Riding

The resort is quite spread out. So one way to get people from one place to another without a long wait is to use bikes. The rule is, if it's sitting there, you can "steal" it!  Here are some of our transportation pictures...

Another bike riding activity is to take you on a tour through town. We had to get different bikes and helmets for this activity. 

The lovely hair nets to keep the lice away. :)

While we were waiting to go on the bike tour, we had a nice "friendly" game of boys vs. girls in volleyball. No questions asked, of course the girls WHIPPED the boys!!! :D

Day 1, Sepang Malaysia

Dad and Ted... Tide's out. If you look at the photo from the day before, you will notice that it's quite a hike out from the shore, where they started, to our villa. They had to then walk back to shore because you can't climb up to the villas from the ocean floor. :)

Random Pictures

I thought I would post these pictures from this last week. 

Teddy got his hair cut after school one day. He was hungry... :)

Gavin is in the Tembagapura Torpedos swim club. Because of all the swimming, he ended up with swimmers hair, all crusty feeling and greasy looking. So we mixed up a potion (because we just don't have swimmers shampoo in Tembag) and washed his hair. :)

I received a picutre of Marz from her dorm parents. They were having a nacho night. I think Marz missed the "your suppose to make a goofy face memo".  :)

I didn't get a picture of Gabby, but here is one of Chris from a farewell party we attended for one of his underground guys. Chris is the one with the Grizzly Adams look. 

Well, that's about it. Four more days and we are off to see Marz!!  Hopefully this week goes by fast!

Net Ball

The kids have been learning a new sport in PE, Net Ball. So Coach, their PE teacher, organized a Saturday morning competition between the continents: Americas, South Africans, Asians, and Australia and New Zeland were together. Clearly the Americas team was the strongest of the bunch (pretty much because they had most of the middle schoolers) but in the end, Africa, mixed with kids from all the other countries, came out on top. :( For the "All-Stars", the Americas were paired with the AU and NZ kids and come out way on top of that game.
