Bedroom Furniture

A couple of months ago, we moved into a new house... Different house. :). Just in time for our new bedroom furniture to arrive!
We ordered it from a place in Bali. All of it is hand made with solid wood... Just don't remember what kind... It took 9 guys just to get the headboard up the stairs!! It was HEAVY!!
I must say, I love it!!!! :D

Happy Thanksgiving!: A Trip Down Memory Lane...

This morning, as I was thinking for all that I am thankful for, I am feeling as lot blessed and a little homesick.  I miss spending the holidays with my family but also know that we have created an extended family here that makes up for being so far away.

I also started looking at pictures on my computer from way back when and thought I would compile a bunch of pictures of how our family has changed over the last seven years.  (It's seven years, because that is the oldest picture I have on this computer... Unfortunately, Gabby is missing from it because she was screwing around at that time! :))

So here we go, a look back on how much we have changed and most definitely how much we have been blessed and how much we have to be thankful for!

And who can forget Riely... :)

What a fun ride it has been so far!  Here's to many more years of thankfulness!

Gavin's Class Trip

This last Thursday and Friday the 4th and 5th graders choppered down to the lowlands to join the 4th and 5th grade classes in KK.  They planted trees in the mangroves and swam with an Olympic swimmer as two of their main activities.

Here are a few pictures my friend Danella sent me from the two days.

Everyone came home happy and very tired!  It was a great experience for the kids!

Movie Time

Today I went to my friend's house to watch the movie,"Atlas Shrugged". It was just the two of us! So my friend, I told her I would not mention her name, made popcorn and had some goodies, candy from the States :), for us to munch on. Oh, and I can't forget the "napkins" she put out! Yes, those are towels! Just incase we got a little messy! :D

Gavin's Golden Birthday

11 on 11-11-12! So we are not quite to Gavin's actual birthday but we celebrated it tonight. Gavin picked two of his best buddies to have a sleepover, Zedd and Jarrison. It was a special night and I think the boys all had a great time!

Club Med - GO's

After almost two weeks at the Club Med in Malaysia, I still don't know what "G.O." stands for!  How bad is that??  All I know that the people in these next few pictures made our stay there FANTASTIC!! Like Chris said, "It's not the building or the pool but the GO's that make the Club Med!"  We miss them all so very much and hope to see them again one day soon!

As you can see, our new friends are from everywhere!  It was so great to get to know everyone, talk about where they are from and what they are going to do after they are done at Club Med.  Many interesting stories, for sure!
